Kan-shi Gary Dotoshi Bolton
Master Instructor
Dotoshi sensei is one of the original members of An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes' Hombu dojo instructor team. Dotoshi
holds a 5th degree black belt master instructor's license
in To-Shin Do as well as a third degree black belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. Dotoshi operated as Senior Director of Spirit Quest, a non profit organization dedicated to teaching martial arts and mind science principles to inner city and at risk youth.
He is also a member of the Marishi-Kai personal protection security team which is charged with protecting well known people such as the Dalai Lama, Muhammad Ali and John Mellencamp. Mr. Bolton is certified through Wright State University in Anti-Bullying curriculums of psychology. Sensei Bolton has been awarded the warrior name Dotoshi, meaning "Warrior of the Guiding Light Blade."

Todd Ryotoshi Norcross

Ryotoshi sensei began studying Uechi-Ryu Karate at the age of fourteen. He began training in Ninjutsu with Stephen K. Hayes and Mark Davis in Boston in 1988. In 1999, he moved to Ohio to be a personal student of An-Shu Hayes. He holds a SanDan in To-Shin Do and a Nidan in Ninpo Taijutsu under Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. He is a teacher of meditation and Buddhism. He is a member of the Marishi-Kai protector’s guild and has body guarded for the Dalai Lama and Muhammad Ali. He is also certified through Wright State University in Anti-Bullying curriculums of psychology. He was awarded the warrior name "Ryotoshi" which means "Warrior of the Blade of Clear Truth." Matthew Herbert
Instructor
Mr. Herbert began his martial arts training at Spirit Quest in 2004. He has taught hundreds of students of all ages for the past three years in North Dayton, Lebanon, Hamilton and Mason. He specializes in working with kids with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities and anger issues. His calm demeanor, powerful technique and humble leadership skills have made him an extremely skilled interpreter of martial arts principles. He is also an expert of the Rokushakubo (Long Staff). Aside from his teaching, he is also the Producer and Editor of An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes home study DVD's, which have sold thousands worldwide.

Chad Fisher
Instructor/Customer Relations
Mr. Chad Fisher is an avid student of martial arts and certified trainer in To-Shin Do. He relocated from Arizona three years ago to study at black belt Hall of Fame member Stephen K. Hayes' dojo in Dayton. Ohio. Mr. Fisher is an expert at teaching youth with ADD/ADHD. He is the front desk man at The Dojo and is enthusiastic about his work. He also enjoys hiking, mountain-biking and outdoor activities.
